A learner
wants to know the quirks of
new programs, figure out more streamlined
workflows for different circumstances, and fully
understand the latest technology in
dispute.
Technologically savvy through practice.
An artist
can visualize ideas and trasfer
their thoughts to a wide variety of mediums,
ranging anywhere from hand-drawn storyboards
and still graphics in Illustrator / Photoshop to
2D Flash animation and 3D animation.
A team player sees
opportunities to help out for the benefit of the whole.
They find themselves assisting in matters far outside the
realm of
graphics not because they have to, but because they want
to keep the collective wheels turning.
Communicators can interface
with the lawyers and experts and
ensure them that their ideas / concepts will be preserved in
the finished
graphics. This process includes drafting rough
storyboards, taking accurate notes,
and asking the right
questions.
At IPdemons we are always looking to hire highly creative and like-minded individuals for full time positions. There are no freelancers here; each of our employees enjoys the benefits of a 401(k) and comprehensive healthcare as well as the
camaraderie that comes with being one of the Demons in this fast-paced industry.
A Demon is multi-faceted:
“Fast-paced” doesn’t always mean glamorous. We get the opportunity to learn about, create and animate bleeding-edge technologies, but often we are challenged to create those graphics on short notice; many times having to work long hours and through weekends. Going to trial is a great experience that allows us to travel all around the country, stay in the best hotels and work with the leading authorities in patent law. The graphics we create at trial play a vital role in many of our country’s most important multi-million
dollar patent disputes, and the excitement that comes with knowing your graphics contributed to a winning decision is immeasurable. However, we have also come to expect how little of our hotel room we actually get to see (bed especially), and we may be away from home for weeks or months at a time.
You’re either someone who gets excited
about a challenge or you’re daunted by the thought of it.
Any artist can appreciate the feeling that comes with
finishing a two month project in two months. We want the
artists that appreciate the accomplishment of doing it in
two weeks; thriving on both it’s completion as well as the
obstacles that stood in their way. This is what it takes to
be a Demon.
